Weak architecture

Abstract

I propose the term weak architecture. In this expression there is already an allusion (not difficult to guess) to the term weak thinking or weak ontology that, first, and by extension other contemporary Italian and also French and German thinkers, have put into circulation in recent years. It seems to me that behind the proposals of weak philosophy there is in reality a certain statement: an interpretation of the intellectual and very particularly aesthetic situation of contemporary culture. For this reason, it is possible to ask in what sense the architectural work of art is produced in accordance with this aesthetic related to weak contemporary thinking.
