Abstract

2022 finally comes to an end! A year that urged us to reflect on the meaning of the civic dimension and its representations. A year in which the Democratic Rule of Law was threatened so many times and the institutions stressed. A dramatic period marked by disregard for science, education, the environment and a lack of social and human empathy. In the eyes of culture, it was sad to realize that the Modern Art Week of 1922 almost passed in white clouds, without the prominence it would (and is) deserve. Missing from the agenda of one country was the celebration of a “seriously festive” historical event that perpetually brought fertile seeds of recognition, identity and modernity to the national culture.
