the crystal image in contemporary times

Abstract

Research on didactic experience carried out with students from the second semester of the School of Architecture and Urbanism in the discipline of History of Art. The proposal consisted in the use of urban cartography, self-photography and the assemblage of an “Atlas Mnemosyne”, with the objective of bringing images from different periods of the history of art with the experience of architecture in the city - past and present at the same time. As a theoretical reference, Gilles Deleuze’s concept of crystal-image was used as a trigger for precesses of creating and inventing worlds and architecture projects - the future.
